The company was founded in 1984 by Leonard Bosack along with Kirk Lougheed, two students at Stanford University. Below are instructions for configuring a Mac for Virtual Private Network access. To configure VPN for Mac: Visit https://access.hws.edu/ to download and install the VPN client . Log in with your HWS username and password . On the home screen, click Install VPN Client .
