May 21, 2012 · F10 Slow for VPN traffic - posted in Barracuda NextGen and CloudGen Firewall F-Series: I have a central F400 and then two F10's that I indend to deploy as remote enpoints across a leased 100 mbps fiber connection. So, to test everything out before taking the F10 out to a remote site, I built the TINA tunnel on my F400, then built it on one of my F10's and then litterally connected the F10 to May 08, 2013 · We have a Sonicwall NSA 240 that is our firewall but also is configured for SSLVPN. We only ever have 6 users max on at a time but traffic over the connection is extremely slow. We have 20mbs down and 20mbs up speed so that shouldn't be the limiter. Tunneling is turned off so not all traffic goes through us first. Firewall or antivirus software can slow down VPN traffic by filtering or scanning outgoing packets. If you have any similar application on your device, it is better to disable it before using Betternet. Resting your device and WiFi modem can also help you to speed up your connection. Sometimes our servers are overloaded. After some trying I found out that it depends on the "VPN Client Access Networks" configured in User -> Local users -> Edit user -> VPN access. I just chose one internal network and it worked fine. Internal network traffic goes through VPN and all internet traffic uses the internet connection. Hope this helps. Jun 06, 2014 · We have an active site-to-site vpn running with a VM deployed in the virtual network. We have a Juniper SRX240 on site providing the connectivity, this unit should be able to provide upwards of 250mbps of IPsec vpn throughput but we only seem to get about 24mbps max usually less during a file transfer from a server onsite to the azure server. Just incase the traffic is SMB, I posted this in another thread. SMB is notorious for slow transfers over high latency links (30ms can be considered high in this case). The protocol wasn't designed for this and so doesn't lend itself well to speed over WAN links. Its "chatty" and over higher latency links thats never a good thing.

Split Tunneling makes it so that only VPN traffic that is destined for the company's network goes through the VPN tunnel. All other traffic goes through the user's normal Internet connection. Sep 04, 2015 · Site to site traffic flow over IPsec very slow Fortigate 100D to 100E on fiber site A 150/150 to fiber Site B 250/250. I transfert from site B to site A on FTP 145mbits outside the VPN and 10 mbits on the same servers through the the vpn. So try this. Next time you started seeing slow speeds disconnect from the VPN and test your comcast connection. Ping a few sites, run some speed test and average the results. Now hop on the VPN and do the same thing. If you notice the VPN is causing the slow-down it is likely Comcast isn't directly responsible.
